ROLEX PRESENTS: ANOUSHKA SHANKAR PERFORMING "TRAVELLER"

Anoushka Shankar is presenting an exclusive, preview concert featuring the music from her forthcoming album "Traveller". The Deutsche Grammophon debut, produced by Javier Limón and scheduled for release in October, will be followed by extensive tours in Europe this autumn, early 2012 in India, and in the US next spring.

The project, which Anoushka calls a "raga flamenco journey", originated with her wish to retrace the 1000-year-old bond between Indian and Spanish musical traditions.

Medici.tv will broadcast the concert live from the 12th Girona Festival of World and Sacred Music on 3 July at 10 pm CET.

Anoushka Shankar, on sitar, will be accompanied by Indian and flamenco musicians, including:
